Greetings and blessings.

I have had many issues. One decision I made that I certainly lifed to regret was getting my tubes tied after having my twins in 1996. I didn't have enough information, nor did I take the time to get information. All I knew at the time (24 yrs old) was that i had four children and I didn't want anymore.

I would say about eight years after getting my tubes tied, I ended up in the hospital under the knife because I had a dangerous ectopic pregnancy. The next appointment the dr. told me I came in just in time because I was almost into my secon trimester and she showed me a picture of the rupture. The follow year (almost to the day) I got pregnant again, but my body disposed of it naturally. For the next few years, everytime I got symptoms, I got the fear of being pregnant. Finally I went to the dr. again because I feared I was pregnant and I was doing some major cramping. Fibroids were found. We used that as a way for me to get a hysterectomy. I did choose to get the hysterectomy because my biggest fear was not the fibroids, it was getting pregnant and the danger that held for me. It was emotional.

After the surgery, I did a cleanse and used herbs to heal and get the medications out of my systems. I healed quickly and well. I don't regret having the hysterectomy. I do regret getting my tubes tied which, in my opinion, led me to have to get the hysterectomy trying to fix my first mistake. What I want to do now is be a vessle for women to get information and not have to make the same errors I have made. What ever their choices are the worse thing a women can do is to make choices without having enough information at their finger tips. I wish I would have known about Queen Afua, Dr. Akua, and Eshe Riviears before I made my first decision.
